Hand Pumps

VPL Group at present engaged in manufacturing and exporting of Deep Well Hand Pumps includes the world renowned, India Mark II hand pump and its various derivatives like India Mark III (VOLM) Extra Deep Well versions. These hand pumps are certified by Bureau of Indian Standards. We are also manufacturing Treadle pumps for Irrigation purpose.

Product Range
1. VLOM 50 Deepwell Hand Pump
Which is a modification of standard india mark iii deepwell hand pump. It is a low cost pump suitable for use upto 50 meters can be installed on 100 to 150 wells. No tools required for servicing piston and foot valve assembly.

2. Extra Deepwell Hand Pump
Manufactured as per bureau of indian standards specs, viz. 13287/92 Capable of lifting water upto 90 meters setting depth. Heavier handle with a t-bar and additional weight ensures reduced pumping efforts. Even a teenage child or a woman can easily operate the pump.

Heavy duty cylinder assembly with 3 pump buckets ensures lifting of water from deeper settings efficiently.

3. Afridev Deepwell Hand Pump
A true vlom concept (village level operatation & maintaince) hand pump with minimal maintanance as per the latest skat specifications. Suitable far lifting water from depths of 10m to 45m. Suitable for boreholes with casing sizes of nominal 100, 115, 127, 150 or 200 mm internal diameters.

4. Pump Head
Fully fabricated steel structure duly hot dip galvanized with conical Flange and rubber grommet for better gripping of upvc rising main.

5. Handle
An adjustable t-bar handle to get maximum mechanical advantage for different pumping depths.

6. Pump Stand
Three legged, square flange and round flange options.

7. Cylinder
Brass lined upvc cylinder providing resistance to corrosion and abra­sion with extractable plunger and foot valve assemblies. Options of brass plunger body apart from plastic.

8. Connecting Rods
Three designs are available in mild steel & stainless steel [aisi: 304/ 316) materials, the two existing ones with hook and eye connectors (as per skat 2/ 1994) and with the threaded connectors (as per skat 3/1998)

9. Riser Pipe
Light weight upvc riser pipe with spigot socket cemented joints along with a rubber pipe centraliser. Essential spares & tools- supplied with each complete pump set.

10. Spares Tools
Bushing bearing, Socket spanner, Bobbin, Open ended spanner, U-seal, Fishing tool.

Materials of Construction
1. Head assembly
Mild steel fully fabricated construction duly hot dip galvanized. Available with different mounting arrangments.

2. Handle assembly
Hot dip galvanized long and heavy handle bar provides adequate mechani­cal advantage enable a child to oper­ate the pump with an ease.

3. Water tank assembly
Hot dip galvanized water tank. The spout design is suitable designed for any type of vessel normally used to collect the water.

4. Pump stand assembly
Mild steel hot dip galva­nized construction with options of standard 3 legged telescopic three legged, square falnge and round flange pedestals

5. Cylinder assembly
Cylinder assembly with options of cast iron brass sleeved, fully brass and stainless steel.

6. Connecting rods
12Mm dia connecting rod with cou­pling. Options of mild steel & stain­less steel connecting rod available.
